Senior Mobile QA Engineer | Long-term Project | Banking We are looking for…An experienced Senior Mobile QA Engineer to join our Mobile Engineering Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and consistency of the internal mobile SDK that powers mobile applications across both iOS and Android.You'll work in a platform engineering environment where multiple teams contribute shared modules consumed throughout the organisation. As part of the team, you'll help shape and validate a newly built application that integrates these modules into a cohesive product. About the roleAs a Senior Mobile QA Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and driving the quality strategy for a modern mobile platform. You'll build automated testing capabilities from the ground up, improve testing practices across modular architectures, and ensure platform components can be safely adopted across engineering teams.You will:Define and implement the QA strategy for a mobile platform and SDK environment.Validate the integration of shared modules and dependencies across iOS and Android applications.Build and maintain automated integration, end-to-end, regression, and platform testing frameworks.Improve testing strategies for modular architectures and cross-team dependencies.Validate SDKs, frameworks, and shared platform components before release.Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.Drive improvements in performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability through testing.Analyse defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement structural quality improvements.Support versioning, release validation, and quality gates for SDK distribution.Collaborate closely with developers, platform engineers, and consuming teams to improve testability and feedback loops.Identify risks across dependency chains and prevent regressions throughout the mobile ecosystem.Promote QA best practices and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering community. Experience6-8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, preferably within mobile development.Hands-on experience testing both iOS and Android applications.Strong experience with mobile automation frameworks such as XCTest, Espresso, Appium, or similar.Experience testing modular architectures with complex dependencies.Experience validating SDKs, frameworks, or shared platform components.Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release validation processes.Experience with integration, regression, end-to-end, performance, and stability testing.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience performing root cause analysis.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering teams.A proactive mindset with a passion for continuously improving software quality.
