As part of one of Ireland's leading independent financial services groups, you will play a key role in delivering expert mortgage advice to clients while developing strong relationships with referral partners and professional contacts. ResponsibilitiesClient Advisory & SuitabilityConduct comprehensive fact-finds, KYC/AML checks, affordability assessments, and suitability reviews in line with regulatory requirements.Provide tailored mortgage advice and recommendations to first-time buyers, movers, switchers, self-build, buy-to-let, and investment property clients.Build trusted client relationships by delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the mortgage journey.Clearly explain mortgage products, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements to support informed client decision-making.Application ManagementPrepare, submit, and manage mortgage applications from initial consultation through to loan drawdown.Liaise effectively with lenders, solicitors, valuers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless application process.Proactively manage a pipeline of mortgage cases, resolving underwriting, documentation, and lending queries in a timely manner.Ensure all applications and supporting documentation meet lender and regulatory standards.Market & Product ExpertiseMaintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, lender criteria, market trends, interest rates, and regulatory developments.Identify the most suitable lending solutions based on clients' individual needs and circumstances.Share market insights and product updates with colleagues to support continuous team development.Sales & Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain a strong referral network, including estate agents, accountants, solicitors, and other professional introducers.Generate new business opportunities through networking, relationship management, and proactive business development activities.Nurture long-term client relationships to drive repeat business, client retention, and referral opportunities.Consistently achieve agreed sales, revenue, and business development targets.Teamwork & Continuous ImprovementCollaborate closely with Mortgage Administrators and wider team members to deliver an exceptional client experience.Support and mentor Administrators and Junior Advisors, sharing knowledge and best practice.Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes, systems, and service delivery standards.Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and activity logs within the CRM system.Build strong relationships across the wider LHK Group, industry networks, and external professional partners.Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and the highest standards of professional ethics.Demonstrate LHK Group's values in all interactions and contribute positively to the continued growth and reputation of the business.QualificationsQFA qualified, with progress towards CFP designation desirable.Minimum 3-5 years' experience in mortgage advisory or mortgage sales, ideally within a broker environment.Strong technical knowledge of mortgage products, lending criteria, and the wider financial services market.Proven track record of achieving sales, revenue, and business development targets.Strong understanding of the Consumer Protection Code, Fitness & Probity requirements, and other relevant regulatory obligations.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client management skills.Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.Fully compliant with CPD requirements.Equal Opportunity StatementLHK Group is an equal opportunities employer.
