The Senior Mortgage Broker will provide suitable and compliant mortgage recommendations based on clients' individual circumstances and objectives. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Dublin 6, with flexibility for 2-3 days from home. Daily responsibilities include assessing client affordability, structuring mortgage solutions, coordinating documentation, liaising with lenders, and negotiating terms to secure competitive rates. The role involves supporting clients with refinancing and debt consolidation strategies, contributing to mortgage marketing activities, and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners. The Senior Mortgage Broker will also collaborate with financial planning colleagues to ensure clients receive holistic advice aligned with their long-term financial goals. An important aspect of the role will involve mentoring other mortgage brokers on the team as we continue to expand our mortgage team.QualificationsStrong expertise in mortgage broking, brokerage operations, and end-to-end mortgage processes, with a minimum of 5 years experience.Experience with debt consolidation strategies and advising clients on restructuring existing borrowing.Knowledge of mortgage marketing, client acquisition, and relationship management within financial services.Proven ability to develop and maintain referral relationships with estate agents, solicitors, accountants, and other professional introducers.Previous experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting junior mortgage advisors is highly desirable.Understanding of mortgage-related protection needs, including life cover, serious illness cover and income protection, with the ability to identify referral opportunities to specialist colleagues.Strong digital competency, including experience using CRM systems, mortgage sourcing platforms, lender portals and workflow management systems.Solid foundation in finance, including credit assessment, risk evaluation, and regulatory compliance.Relevant professional qualification in mortgage advice or financial services; QFA is mandatory.Proven track record in a senior mortgage advisory broker role within the Irish market.Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with a client-centred approach.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities across office and home settings.Comfortable working within a high-performance, target-driven environment focused on client outcomes, service quality and business growth.What We Offer10+ qualified mortgage leads per weekVery competitive salary and attractive bonus structureHybrid working (2-3 days from home)Employer pension contributionOngoing professional development and supportOpportunity to mentor and help build one of Ireland's fastest-growing mortgage teamAccess to in-house financial planning, protection and wealth management specialistsModern technology stackJoin DNG, one of Ireland's best-known brands
