Applicants can expect a workplace that values integrity, performance, and long-term relationships.Role Description The Senior Mortgage Loan Officer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Chandler, AZ, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, advising clients on suitable loan products, and guiding them through the entire lending process from application to closing. Daily activities include building and managing a pipeline of borrowers, gathering and analyzing financial documentation, collaborating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring loans comply with regulatory and company guidelines. The Senior Mortgage Loan Officer will cultivate relationships with real estate professionals, referral partners, and community contacts to generate new business. The role also involves delivering high-quality customer service, resolving client inquiries, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise as a Senior Loan Officer, with a strong track record in residential mortgage origination and pipeline management.In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry, including current market trends, loan products, and regulatory requirements.Hands-on experience in mortgage lending processes, from application through closing, including documentation collection and loan structuring.Working understanding of underwriting guidelines and credit analysis, with the ability to prepare clean, complete files for underwriter review.Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term client relationships.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative sales skills; ability to generate and nurture referral-based business.Proficiency with mortgage origination software, CRM tools, and standard office applications; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Relevant state licensing and registrations as required for mortgage loan officers (e.g., NMLS registration in good standing).Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time effectively and meeting production goals.Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in mortgage lending considered.
