The workplace emphasizes professionalism, safety, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.Role Description The Senior Motorcycle Tech is a full-time, on-site role located in McKinney, TX. This role is responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on KTM and other adventure motorcycles, including engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and accessories. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting bikes for mechanical issues, completing scheduled services, installing upgrades or aftermarket parts, and ensuring all work meets safety and manufacturer standards. The Senior Motorcycle Tech will support junior technicians through mentoring and quality checks, maintain accurate service records, and coordinate with service advisors on work orders and timelines. This role also involves communicating clearly with customers about findings, repair options, and recommended maintenance to ensure a positive service experience and high customer satisfaction.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance, including diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled service on motorcycles.Candidates should possess hands-on experience working with Bikes, preferably KTM and adventure models, with familiarity with performance and off-road setups.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers and collaborate with team members.Candidates should possess a focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, ensuring professional, courteous interactions and timely, high-quality work.Relevant qualifications such as completion of motorcycle technician training or certification, or equivalent experience in powersports or automotive service.Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation; proficiency with diagnostic tools and shop equipment.Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious work habits, and the ability to manage multiple work orders efficiently in a busy service environment.Physical ability to safely lift and maneuver motorcycles and components as required; valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.Prior experience as a senior or lead technician in a dealership or service shop environment is highly beneficial.
