About the Role

Currently, we are looking for a Senior .NET / Azure Developer for one of our international clients. This is a key role for an experienced software engineer who will join a highly skilled and collaborative international development team, working on complex software solutions within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions using .NET and C#Take ownership of software development activities, from understanding requirements and designing solutions through development, testing and deploymentCollaborate with product owners, business users and other developers to translate user stories into clear and deliverable technical solutionsApply software architecture principles, including SOLID principles and design patterns, to build maintainable and scalable applicationsDevelop and maintain REST APIs and services supporting integration between different systemsWork with Microsoft Azure and contribute to cloud-based application development and architectureBuild, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and modern DevOps practicesWork with event-driven architectures and event streaming technologies, ideally KafkaLeverage AI and agentic engineering tools responsibly in day-to-day development activities and engineering workflows to improve productivity and software qualityParticipate in TDD, pair programming, code reviews and other agile engineering practicesInvestigate and resolve software defects and production issuesContribute to application maintenance, technical improvements and continuous optimizationSupport application deployments, monitoring, data migration and UAT activitiesParticipate in performance, load, stress, scale and security testingContribute to third-line application support when requiredContinuously evaluate new technologies, development approaches and tools that could improve the technology landscapeWork closely with international development teams and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is preferredRelevant technical certifications are a plus7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on .NET technologiesStrong proficiency in C# and .NETSolid experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud fundamentalsPractical experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and modern DevOps practicesExperience with containerization and ideally Kubernetes (K8s)Experience with event-driven architectures (EDA) and event streaming platforms, ideally KafkaStrong understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles and design patternsProven experience developing and maintaining REST APIsExperience delivering high-quality, unit-tested software in a commercial environmentExperience with TDD, automated testing, code reviews and agile development practicesHands-on experience with AI fundamentals and/or AI-enabled development toolsExperience using agentic engineering tools responsibly in software development is a strong plusGood understanding of Git/GitOps and modern software delivery practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills in English, both written and spokenAbility to work effectively within distributed, international teamsCreative and structured approach to problem solvingEnthusiasm for continuous learning and knowledge sharingNice to have:Experience with SQL Server and stored proceduresExperience with Azure FunctionsExperience with Azure AI or other cloud-based AI servicesKnowledge of financial services, banking or financial technology environmentsExposure to FX systems or financial markets is an advantageExperience working with financial systems or regulated environmentsSalary: >331,884 RON gross per year.Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Contract
