About The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our healthcare-focused technology team. As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) in the healthcare industry, you will be an integral part of developing cutting-edge software solutions that contribute to improving patient care, streamlining healthcare operations, and ensuring data security and compliance. Your work will directly impact the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients and providers.ResponsibilitiesMentor more junior engineers on writing clean code and proper SDLC flowsApply strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and/or accounting concepts to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that accurately support business and financial workflows.Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, product managers, and other engineers to gather and understand requirements for software solutions that address critical healthcare challenges.Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services supporting Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and financial workflows including eligibility verification, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, accounts receivable, and related accounting processes.Develop and support healthcare EDI integrations including X12 transactions such as 837 Claims, 835 ERA, 277CA, 999, and 270/271 Eligibility.Implement and adhere to healthcare industry standards and regulations such as HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, and other relevant compliance requirements.Build integrations with clearinghouses, payers, EHR systems, and third-party healthcare platforms using APIs, SFTP, and other integration technologies.Build reporting and analytics solutions that provide visibility into claims, denials, reimbursements, and revenue cycle performance.Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to claims, payments, adjustments, denials, accounts receivable, and other RCM and accounting workflows.Leverage your expertise in data privacy and security to design and implement solutions that protect sensitive patient information and maintain the confidentiality of healthcare records.Participate in architecture discussions to ensure that software solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable in healthcare environments.Collaborate with RCM operations, billing teams, and product managers to automate manual workflows and improve claim processing efficiency.Work closely with RCM, billing, accounting, and finance stakeholders to understand business processes, identify gaps, and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.Develop algorithms and analytics tools to process and analyze medical data, contributing to data-driven decision-making and patient outcomes.Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance the value of our software products.Participate in code reviews, write comprehensive documentation, and provide mentorship to junior team members.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects, ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare software applicationsRequirementsFluent in EnglishB.S. in Computer Science or similar 6+ years of experience in Senior Software Engineering or related roles6+ years of experience in C# .NET CoreAt least 3 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and/ or Finance/Accounting domainProven ability to work with stakeholders to better define the scope of their needs in a manner that allows for successful delivery.Familiarity with cloud systems, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and a desire to expand your knowledge of cloud architecture on Microsoft’s Azure platform.Experience with GitPrior experience in systems with strong regulation and privacy concerns such as financial or health related systems is a plus.
