Senior Network AdministratorLocation: DubaiDuration: 06 MonthsJob SummaryThe Senior Network Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, maintenance, security, and optimization of the organization's network infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring network availability, reliability, performance, and security, while providing advanced troubleshooting and operational support.Technical ExpertiseThe candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of:Networking Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, routing and switchingNetwork Vendors: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba, Palo AltoNetwork Security: Firewalls, VPNs, network access control, and security best practicesNetwork Services: DNS, DHCP, and IP addressingOperating Systems: Windows Server and LinuxMonitoring Tools: OPManager, SNMP, NetFlow, or equivalent platformsCloud Networking: AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, and FedNet CloudWireless Networking: Enterprise wireless infrastructure and access pointsHigh Availability: Network redundancy, failover, and capacity managementDocumentation: Network diagrams, configuration documentation, and operational procedures.Experience & SeniorityMinimum 7+ years of relevant experience in network administration, network operations, or network engineering.Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments.Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex network and infrastructure issues.Experience maintaining high-availability environments and working within SLA-driven operations.Previous experience mentoring or supervising junior administrators/engineers is preferred.
