As a trusted IT consulting partner, Dautom is supporting their strategic initiatives by connecting them with exceptional talent to drive business growth and transformation.Job Role: Senior Senior Network EngineerWork Location: Abu DhabiNotice Period: Immediate - 30 DaysAbout the Role• Solid understanding of all layers of the OSI model, LAN/WAN networks• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and subnetting.• Hands-on experience with network hardware and software from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.• Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.• Familiarity with network security principles, practices, and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.• Experience in enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutionsKnowledge of GDPR and other international security related guidelines and regulations• Knowledge of PCI, ISO and UAE Security Regulations (Consumer and Data)• Solid understanding of Information Security operations activities and security governance• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem solving skillsOperations:• Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and events to identify potential issues and security threats• Coordinate incident response activities with internal and external teams and ensure timely resolution of all incidents• Provide administration and support, ensure standard practices, install/configure/customize applications and hardware like Switches, routers, patch panels, firewalls, IPS and load balancers• Implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including VOIP, LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.• Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of network services and resources, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.• Monitor network performance and traffic patterns, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and minimize downtime.• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements and develop network solutions that support business objectives.• Execute network infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.• Provide technical expertise and support to resolve network-related incidents and escalations, including after-hours support as needed.• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans and manage the overall threat and risk exposure of Azure setup to an acceptable level.
