Senior Odoo Developer

Role Description The Senior Odoo Technical Developer role is a part-time remote position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Odoo modules and customizations to support Jadeer’s operations. The person in this role will configure and extend Odoo functionalities, integrate Odoo with internal and external systems. Daily tasks include writing and reviewing clean, efficient code, troubleshooting technical issues, improving database performance, and ensuring a secure and scalable architecture. The Senior Odoo Technical Developer will collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide guidance on best practices in Odoo development. The role also involves documenting technical designs, supporting deployments, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsStrong software development and programming skills, including experience with Odoo frameworks and related technologies.Hands-on expertise in systems integration, including connecting Odoo with external applications, services, and APIs.Proficiency working with databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and optimizing performance.Ability to implement and adjust front-end elements using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related web technologies.Previous experience in a senior or lead Odoo developer role, preferably supporting real estate or investment workflows.Solid understanding of software architecture, version control (e.g., Git), and secure coding practices.Manage Odoo.sh environments, Git branches, deployments, releases, and upgrade/migration considerations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional, remote teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with Linux-based environments, containerization, or cloud platforms is an advantage.
