Senior Offensive Security Consultant - Remote - Travel to office once a month - Up to £60K (Depending on experience) My client is looking for a Senior Offensive Security Consultant to join there cyber security team, working on a variety of technical security engagements for clients across different industries.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys identifying vulnerabilities, understanding how systems can be compromised, and helping organizations strengthen their security posture. You’ll work across a broad range of environments and have the opportunity to develop your expertise in multiple areas of offensive security.The RoleDepending on your experience and interests, projects may include:Web application and API penetration testingInternal and external infrastructure assessmentsWireless security testingMobile application securityRed and Purple Team engagementsPhysical security assessmentsHardware and device security testingDevelopment of penetration testing tools and methodologiesYou’ll work directly with clients, clearly communicate technical findings and provide practical recommendations that help organizations understand and reduce their security risk.What There Looking ForYou’ll ideally have:Professional experience in penetration testing, red teaming, bug bounty programmes, CTFs or security researchStrong understanding of networks, operating systems, applications and common attack techniquesExperience with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Caido, ZAP, Nessus, Cobalt Strike or other C2 frameworksScripting or development experience using Python, Bash and/or PowerShellStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsThe ability to communicate technical security issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersA genuine interest in ethical hacking and keeping up with the evolving threat landscapeRelevant certifications such as OSCP, CRT, CTM, OSWA, OSEP, or CTL would be beneficial.Why Join?You’ll have the opportunity to work on varied and challenging security engagements while continuing to develop your technical skills.
