(G2) is seeking a Senior Office Manager to manage daily office operations and support corporate administrative functions at our San Diego office.
About the Role
The Senior Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of G2’s corporate office and provides administrative support to executive leadership. The Senior Office Manager works directly with G2’s executive leadership on a daily basis in a small corporate office and is expected to exercise independent judgment and take full ownership of these responsibilities with a high level of professionalism, discretion, accuracy, and follow-through.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the corporate office, including reception, correspondence, and mail.Administer office purchasing, supplies, and vendor coordination in accordance with company procedures.Coordinate corporate meetings and company events, including Board of Directors and Shareholders meetings.Oversee office facilities and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and building services.Maintain the physical key log and door code access roster in coordination with the Facility Security Officer.Support company records management and controlled document processes.Provide first-line administrative review of travel authorization requests and expense reports.Perform other administrative duties as assigned.What You’ll Need:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of five (5) years of administrative or office support experience in a professional office environment.Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams; willingness to work within automated workflows built on Power Automate and related tools.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion with minimal supervision.Professionalism and discretion appropriate for daily interaction with executive leadership.This position requires an individual to be a US citizen and to be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.Seven (7) or more years of progressive administrative experience, including support of executives or senior leadership.Experience in a government or DoW office environment.Event coordination experience.Communications experience, including newsletters or internal communications.Ability to learn and use new software tools, including AI-assisted workflows.Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) or other workflow automation tools.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.Must be able to navigate each department at G2 and at client facilities.
On-site presence is required to support front desk and facilities responsibilities. Travel is limited to occasional local errands.Compensation and Benefits:The compensation range for this position in California is $85,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on your expertise, and market location conditions.
