Senior Officer – AI EngineeringLocation: Dubai, UAE – OnsiteContract Duration: 5 MonthsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to build, enhance, and operate enterprise AI platforms supporting Agentic AI, RAG, chatbots, and Generative AI solutions. The role involves taking AI use cases from solution design and development through testing and production deployment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop AI/LLM platforms, APIs, RAG pipelines, vector database integrations, and agentic AI workflows.Develop AI-powered solutions such as chatbots, copilots, document processing and decision-support tools. Work with Claude, GPT and other LLMs, including prompt engineering, model orchestration and multi-LLM routing.Build LLM evaluation, guardrails, observability and security capabilities, including hallucination detection, PII protection and prompt-injection controls.Develop OCR/document-processing pipelines and structured data extraction solutions.Collaborate with business and engineering teams to understand requirements, design solutions, conduct demos and support production AI applications.Required Experience & Skills6–8 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in AI/LLM application development.Advanced Python/Node.js, REST APIs, RAG, vector databases and prompt engineering.Hands-on experience with Anthropic Claude, including API/SDK, tool use and agentic patterns.Experience with AWS/Azure, CI/CD, SQL, monitoring/observability and AI evaluation frameworks.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.Banking/financial services experience and knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI and data privacy are preferred.
