Job purpose:The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for the implementation and operation of digital transformation initiatives including the introduction of DevOps processes and tools within his area.Duties and responsibilities:In this role you will ensure the stability of applications in our production environment by process automation and optimization, migrate workloads into the cloud, review and optimize use of resources, providing application support to our customers, vendor management, plan and perform disaster recovery tests, establish and monitor SLAs and other tasks.It is a hands-on role that demands expertise in application support, vendor management, IT incident and change management, as well as agile support processes.This versatile individual will be instrumental in NBF’s digitalization journey by driving innovation and improving support processes aligned with our digital transformation goals.Qualifications:Any Agile / Project Management Certifications / ITIL such asProject Management Professional (Desired)ITIL Professional Leader (Desired)Certified Scrum Master (Desired)Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant (Desired)Any Technical Certifications such as AWS Certified Solution Architect or similar (Desired)Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or similar (Desired)Certified Kubernetes Administrator or similar (Desired)Temenos T24 Certification (Desired)Experience:Minimum 7 years of IT experience of which at least 4 years Application Support Teams in an agile environment of a reputable Bank or Software vendorExperience in Supporting/fixing issues in Internet Banking products and services with Exposure to Corporate Banking /Trade Finance/Cash ManagementExperience in Mobile banking app technology/platformsGood knowledge on Channels integration ecosystem (Middleware/Payment systems/Core banking)Experience in Java/Rest API/SpringExposure to ITIL / Incident / Problem ManagementStrong understanding of banking operations, financial services and regulatory requirementsStrong knowledge of DevOps principles, best practices and continuous integration / continuous deployment pipelinesSound understanding with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework, especially in incident and change management processesKnowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform including infrastructure as code (IaC) conceptsExperience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for scalable and portable application deploymentProficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Puppet or ChefProficiency in deployment automation tools like Spinnaker or Octopus DeployProficiency in monitoring tools such as DataDog, Splunk or Dynatrace with the ability to analyze log filesStrong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system efficiency
