Senior Officer- Operations & Maintenance Procurement | UAE National - Fresh Graduate

Job PurposeDrive day-to-day O&M procurement execution to secure timely, cost-effective goods and services. Manage demand intake, RFQs, evaluations, POs and supplier communications. Ensure contractual compliance, documentation quality, and clear performance reporting.Roles and ResponsibilitiesStrategyManage product and service demand through systematic requisitions, ensuring all prerequisites are fulfilled.Maintain a comprehensive supplier database, ensuring up-to-date records of strategic suppliers.OperationsProcess RFQs through approved marketplaces, ensuring fair and transparent competition to obtain the best offers.Follow up with end users on pending orders to ensure timely processing.Raise and release orders against blanket agreements in accordance with established procedures.Receive and review supplier quotations and prepare comparative analysis sheets for committee evaluation.Order materials and services by generating, executing, and monitoring order schedules to address organizational requirements.Draft and issue purchase orders, prepare agreements and contracts for selected suppliers, request performance bonds, and ensure delivery of original purchase orders.Respond to supplier inquiries to clarify purchase order details in line with established instructions.Administer tendering, negotiation, and bidding activities in alignment with procurement policies.Prepare and submit periodic management reports as required.Perform other responsibilities associated with the role as assigned.Product/Process ImprovementEnsure continuous accuracy and currency of supplier data and procurement records to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.QualificationsBachelor’s in Business/Supply Chain/Admin0-1 Years of experience in case of Bachelor’s degree (5+ years in case of Diploma)Certifications: ISO Certificates 9001, 14000, 45000 and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate
