The hospital also serves as a first-class education center, hosting world congress events, trainings, workshops, and public education programs.Role Description The Senior Operation Theatre Nurse (Filipino) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating nursing care in the operating theatre, ensuring that procedures are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with hospital protocols and international standards. Daily tasks include preparing operating rooms, checking and organizing surgical instruments and equipment, verifying patient identity and procedure, and supporting surgeons and anesthetists throughout operations. The Senior Operation Theatre Nurse supervises and mentors theatre nursing staff, assists with complex surgical cases, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and recovery. Additional responsibilities include maintaining infection control practices, documenting care accurately, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and supporting training activities within the hospital’s education programs.QualificationsValid professional nursing qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Nursing) and current nursing license/registration from the Philippines, with eligibility for licensing in the United Arab Emirates.Significant experience in perioperative and operating theatre nursing, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care in surgical or cosmetic surgery settings.Demonstrated skills in patient safety, infection prevention and control, surgical instrument handling, and adherence to international clinical and ethical standards.Experience in supervising or leading nursing teams, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure and emergency situations.Proficiency in documenting clinical care, using hospital information systems, and following established policies and protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; ability to work effectively within a multicultural team and with diverse patient populations.Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties, according to operating theatre schedules.Previous experience in cosmetic,Minimum 5 years as an OT NurseMust have DHA License / Eligibility Letter
