Senior Operational Risk Manager (Technology)London | Permanent | Regulated Financial ServicesOur client is a purpose-led, dual-regulated organisation, and they're looking for an experienced risk leader to step into a senior, high-profile technology risk role.What you'll do:Provide expert second-line oversight and challenge across technology, cyber, information security, data, change and third-party riskStrengthen the organisation's operational resilience and risk profilesShape policies and standards that give strong, practical coverage of riskLead the design and delivery of risk scenarios, including regulatory reportingDecide where formal assurance is needed and verify that management actions are properly closed outRepresent risk at governance forums and engage key stakeholders across the businessLead and develop a small team of risk professionalsWhat you'll bring:5+ years' experience providing oversight and challenge of operational risk, including technology, cyber, data and transformationExperience of technology and digital transformation programmesStrong working knowledge of operational resilience regulation and how to achieve complianceUnderstanding of UK data protection, data governance and data ethicsFamiliarity with risk frameworks, including NIST, COBIT or similarExcellent report writing, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to make technical topics simpleA resilient, personable style and a real desire to develop othersA risk management qualification and/or a relevant degreeDesirables: Financial services background, stress and scenario testing knowledge, Board-level reporting, data-driven risk insightWhy this role?Senior visibility, real influence on how technology risk is managed, the chance to build and lead a team, and an inclusive culture with a mission that protects real people.Interested?
