(Senior) Operations Consultant

Successful candidates are adaptable, data-driven, and able to translate complex operational challenges into practical business solutions across industries and functions.ResponsibilitiesStructure complex business problems and develop fact-based solutions to address clients’ operational and transformation challenges.Conduct research, stakeholder interviews, benchmarking, and quantitative analysis to identify key business insights.Translate analyses into actionable recommendations and high-quality client deliverables, including presentations, reports, and workshop materials.Drive project workstreams or modules from planning through execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.Facilitate client discussions, workshops, and alignment sessions with stakeholders across functions and management levels.Collaborate closely with client teams and project members to support operational improvement and transformation initiatives.Identify key business drivers, evaluate potential impacts, and support the development of practical and sustainable solutions.Leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance analytical rigor, productivity, and delivery quality.For senior-level candidates, independently manage project modules, coach junior consultants, and coordinate project resources while maintaining strong client relationships.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related disciplines.3-10 years of relevant experience in management consulting, operational excellence, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, business transformation, or related fields.Strong analytical, quantitative, and structured problem-solving capabilities.Ability to synthesize complex information and transform insights into practical business recommendations.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams or project modules independently.Strong business acumen and understanding of operational challenges across multiple functional areas.High learning agility with the ability to quickly adapt to new industries, topics, and client environments.Experience leading client-facing discussions and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders is highly valued.Experience coaching junior team members and contributing to team development is a plus.Professional proficiency in both Chinese and English.Additional business-level proficiency in German or Japanese would be highly valued.
