Senior Operations Manager - 3PLLocation: CoventrySalary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car allowance + BonusLoom Talent are recruiting for an experienced and driven Senior Operations Manager - 3PL to join a fast-paced 3PL operation based in Coventry.This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre operational leader to take ownership of a large-scale and automated warehousing operation within a global 3PL business and supporting a prestigious brand. The RoleAs Senior Operations Manager - 3PL, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day operational performance across a B2B & B2C distribution operation, ensuring service, productivity and cost targets are consistently achieved.You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, continuous improvement and team engagement across the site, working closely with senior leadership to shape operational strategy.The role will have a strong focus on customer service, people development and performance delivery within a demanding 3PL environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage large-scale warehouse and logistics operationsDrive operational performance across productivity, service, quality and cost KPIsDevelop and mentor operational management teams across multiple shifts and functionsEnsure customer expectations and SLA requirements are consistently achievedIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the operationManage labour planning, resource allocation and operational budgetsMaintain high standards across health & safety, compliance and operational disciplineWork collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders to support growth and operational successAbout YouThe successful candidate in the role of Senior Operations Manager - 3PL will have:Proven experience within a senior warehousing or logistics leadership roleA strong background within a 3PL, retail or e-comm logistics Experience managing large operational teams within fast-paced distribution settingsA demonstrable track record of improving operational performance and engagementStrong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and decision-making skillsExcellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management capabilityThe ability to operate effectively within KPI-driven environments with multiple customer demandsWhy This Opportunity?This is a key operational leadership position within an established 3PL environment, offering the opportunity to influence performance, develop teams and play a significant role in the continued success of the operation.Apply now or contact Loom Talent for a confidential discussion.
