Senior Operations Manager

A leading international manufacturing group, with an established production site in Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic, experienced professional to join its site leadership team. This role sits within the business, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing all operational functions across the site, ensuring efficiency, business continuity, and strong cross-functional alignment as the company continues to scale and evolve.Some of the key responsibilities will include:Leads daily operations across production, quality, warehouse, procurement, and pre-production, ensuring continuity and alignment with business objectivesTranslates business strategy into operational plans, driving capacity planning, resource allocation, and productivity improvement programmesDrives process optimisation and continuous improvement through lean methodologies, digitalisation, and automation across production and warehouse workflowsOversees procurement strategy, supplier management, inventory optimisation, and global logistics coordinationPromotes a strong safety culture and oversees quality systems, audits, and risk mitigation to safeguard business continuityLeads, develops, and builds capability across a multidisciplinary operational teamTo be eligible for this role you will require:Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, with 10-15 years of relevant experience in a similar industryStrong expertise in operational strategy, performance management, and multidisciplinary team leadershipDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional operations and manage large-scale projectsStrong background in ERP/WMS systems and data-driven decision-makingHigh attention to detail, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsProven track record of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cost optimisationProven leadership experience managing large operational teamsCitizen of MalaysiaWhy should you apply?Take full ownership of site operations in a senior leadership capacityHigh-impact role with direct influence on business strategy and performanceOpportunity to lead digital transformation and continuous improvement initiativesJoin an established international manufacturing organisation with a strong regional presencePlease contact Hazel Anne by emailing your cv directly in word format with job reference no.
