Senior Operations Manager – Contract Logistics & Warehousing

We are supporting a leading 3PL and contract logistics business in the UAE with the appointment of a Senior Operations Manager to lead a complex, high-volume warehousing operation in Dubai.The successful candidate will take ownership of operational performance across warehousing, inventory, customer SLAs, productivity, cost control and continuous improvement, while leading and developing a sizeable operations team.Key responsibilities include:Lead day-to-day warehouse and contract logistics operationsDeliver agreed customer SLAs, KPIs and service levelsDrive warehouse productivity, capacity utilisation and operational efficiencyMaintain high levels of inventory accuracy and stock integrityManage operational budgets, labour costs and indirect expenditureIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiativesEnsure effective utilisation of WMS and operational reporting systemsLead, coach and develop warehouse operations teamsWork closely with customer service, transport and commercial teamsMaintain strong standards across HSSE, compliance and operational proceduresCandidate profile:8+ years’ experience within 3PL, contract logistics or large-scale warehousingProven experience leading complex warehouse operations and sizeable teamsPrevious experience leading warehouse operations and sizeable teamsStrong understanding of WMS, inventory control and warehouse KPIsDemonstrable experience managing customer SLAs and operational performanceCommercial understanding of warehouse costs, productivity and resource planningStrong continuous improvement and problem-solving capabilityUAE/GCC logistics experience would be advantageousThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional looking to take ownership of a complex, customer-focused operation in Dubai.
