Senior Operations SpecialistRole OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Operations Specialist to support and improve Driver and Courier Operations through data analysis, operational insights, and process improvements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both data and people and can turn operational data into practical business solutions. The role will be a combination of approximately 50% Data Analysis and 50% Business/Operations Analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor driver and courier performance, identify operational challenges, and recommend improvements.Analyse operational data using SQL and Microsoft Excel to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities.Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for operational and management teams.Work closely with drivers, couriers, and internal stakeholders to understand operational issues and provide solutions.Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.Provide data-driven insights to support business and operational decision-making.Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting based on business requirements.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Management, IT, or a related field.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.Basic understanding of finance, customer behavior, purchasing power, and business operations.Ability to communicate effectively with operational teams and translate data into actionable insights.Sinhala required to communicate effectively with drivers; English is an advantage.Experience in Driver/Courier Operations, Logistics, or Business Analysis will be an added advantage.If interested, please share your resume via careers@talentstudio.io.
