The role ensures system stability, performance optimization, and seamless integration with enterprise platforms while supporting ongoing enhancements and upgrade initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools components, including Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface, and Integration Broker.Develop and maintain PeopleCode, SQL scripts, views, and stored procedures to support business requirements and workflow automation.Build and support integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems using REST/SOAP web services, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, and file-based interfaceDevelop and maintain reports using PS Query, nVision, and BI Publisher, while supporting data extraction, migration, and transformation activities.Customize PeopleSoft components, records, pages, and fields, including the implementation of Fluid User Interface enhancements.Perform unit testing, system testing, debugging, and provide technical support during SIT and UAT phases.Support PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and retrofit activities using Change Assistant, PeopleSoft Upgrade Manager, and Change Impact Analyzer.Monitor and optimize system performance through SQL tuning, Application Engine optimization, and database performance improvements.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, integration documents, deployment procedures, and knowledge base articles.Manage code migrations across development, testing, and production environments while following established change management and version control practices.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft development.Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM and/or Financials implementation.Experience supporting enterprise integrations and large-scale system upgrades.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration ability.Close attention to detail and quality.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Architecture.Expertise in PeopleTools (Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface).Advanced proficiency in PeopleCode.Strong SQL and Oracle database skills.Experience with Integration Broker, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Component Interfaces.Experience with PS Query, nVision, and BI Publishes.Knowledge of data migration, testing, debugging, and application upgrades.Familiarity with Workflow/Approval Framework and Fluid UI is an advantage.Experience with PeopleSoft modules such as HCM, Financials, SCM, or Campus Solutions is preferredAdvanced knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL development tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with version control and change management tools.Very good command of English, both written and spoken.Ability to design and implement technical solutions aligned with business requirements.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.Ability to maintain technical documentation and support continuous system improvement.
