The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing PL/SQL solutions supporting large-scale airline transactional systems.The role involves working with complex reservation, inventory, passenger, fare, ticketing, and payment data, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and system performance. Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, test, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers• Develop and tune complex SQL queries for large transactional databases• Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and optimization• Analyze and resolve data discrepancies related to PNR, fares, bookings, ticketing, and payments• Support data integrity, audit, and compliance requirements• Work with high-volume, high-transaction production systems• Collaborate with application, business, and technical teams to resolve database-related issues• Contribute to reliable and scalable database solutions for airline systems Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL developmentStrong knowledge of relational database designExpertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuningExperience with large-scale, high-transaction production systemsStrong understanding of database indexing and optimization techniquesAirline domain knowledge is a strong advantage, particularly PNR, fare/ticketing, inventory, reservation, and passenger data
