Senior Oracle Technical Consultant

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Technical Consultant to design, develop, and support technical solutions across Oracle Cloud applications.The successful candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and BI Publisher, with responsibility for delivering end-to-end technical solutions including integrations, reports, data extracts, conversions, and customizations across Finance and HCM modules.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Development & RICEWDesign and develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and other RICEW components.Develop custom reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), Smart View, and HCM Extracts.Perform application and page customizations using Sandbox, Redwood, APEX, VCBS, and PCS frameworks.Integration & Data ManagementDesign and develop integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Build integrations between Oracle Fusion and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, and HSDL.Support data migration, conversion, and automation activities.Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.Reporting & AnalyticsDevelop advanced OTBI reports, dashboards, and operational insights.Create and optimize interactive dashboards.Design BI Publisher data models, templates, and bursting reports.Customize reporting subject areas and data models.HCM Technical DevelopmentDevelop and manage HCM Extracts for reporting and integration requirements.Utilize Oracle HCM Data Loader (HDL) for migration and maintenance activities.Design and implement Fast Formulas supporting HR and payroll business rules.Support payroll, benefits, and HR reporting requirements.Testing, Deployment & SupportPrepare technical design documents, test plans, and user documentation.Conduct unit and system testing and support UAT.Support deployment and transition of solutions into production.Troubleshoot Oracle Fusion ERP modules, including Finance, SCM, and HCM.Resolve integration, performance, security, and data-related issues.Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Provide technical guidance and recommendations for system improvements.Collaborate across IT, Finance, HR, and other relevant functions.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.6–8 years of technical experience with Oracle Cloud.Strong hands-on experience with:Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)OTBI reporting and dashboard developmentBI PublisherFinancial Reporting Studio (FRS) and Smart ViewHCM Extracts, HDL, and Fast FormulasSQL, XML, XSLT, and data analysisREST and SOAP APIsFBDI and other file-based integrationsOracle SaaS customization tools including Sandbox, Redwood, APEX, VCBS, and PCSKey CompetenciesStrong customer and stakeholder focusAccountability and ownershipAgility and adaptabilityEffective cross-functional collaborationResults-oriented approachStrong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
