About the RoleNecessity Health is seeking an experienced Lead Osteopath / Senior Osteopath to join our growing multidisciplinary allied health clinic in the Illawarra region.This is a senior clinical position suited to an Osteopath with extensive experience who is confident managing complex presentations, mentoring clinicians, and contributing to clinic leadership and service development.You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-informed care while supporting team growth, clinical standards, and patient outcomes within a collaborative environment.We also work closely with our sibling company, Necessity Kids, creating additional opportunities to expand your clinical scope.What We OfferCompetitive salary aligned with senior experienceLeadership and career progression opportunitiesStructured involvement in mentoring and team developmentOngoing professional development and internal CPDStrong multidisciplinary team environment (Osteopathy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Massage)Supportive and collaborative workplace cultureSalary: $80,000 – $130,000 per annum plus superannuation (commensurate with experience)Key ResponsibilitiesConduct advanced osteopathic assessments and manage complex musculoskeletal presentationsDeliver high-quality, evidence-informed manual therapy and treatment planningProvide in depth patient educationMentor and support junior clinicians and new graduatesContribute to clinical leadership, team development, and internal trainingAssist in maintaining high standards of clinical governance and patient careCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomesSupport business growth through caseload development and retention strategiesParticipate in case reviews, team meetings, and professional development initiativesEssential RequirementsMinimum 5 years’ clinical experience as an OsteopathDemonstrated experience in a senior, lead, or managerial Osteopath roleBachelor or Master’s degree in OsteopathyCurrent general registration with the Osteopathy Board of Australia (AHPRA)Advanced competency in musculoskeletal assessment and manual therapy techniquesProven ability to manage complex cases independentlyStrong leadership, mentoring, and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to evidence-informed practice and ongoing professional developmentDesirable (Optional)Experience in paediatrics, pregnancy care, or sports injury managementDry needling qualificationExperience working within a multidisciplinary clinic settingInterest in contributing to service development or clinical educationAbout Necessity HealthNecessity Health is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic based in the Illawarra, combining hands-on therapies with exercise-based rehabilitation.
