Paralegal | Global Arbitration, Trade & Advocacy | Washington, D.C.Washington, D.C. | Hybrid (4 Days In Office)$120,000 - $140,000 Base + Bonus + OvertimeOur client, a prestigious AmLaw firm with one of the country's most respected international disputes practices, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Global Arbitration, Trade & Advocacy team in Washington, D.C.This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside nationally and internationally recognized attorneys handling international arbitration, global trade disputes, regulatory proceedings, and complex cross-border litigation. You'll support matters before U.S. regulatory agencies, federal courts, and international arbitration tribunals involving multinational corporations, sovereign entities, and some of the world's most sophisticated legal issues. If you enjoy intellectually challenging work, thrive under pressure, and want exposure to matters that extend well beyond domestic litigation, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.What You'll DoAs a core member of the practice, you'll manage sophisticated litigation and arbitration matters from inception through hearing or trial.Responsibilities include:Support complex international arbitration, trade remedies, regulatory litigation, and commercial disputes.Manage all phases of regulatory filings, litigation, and arbitration matters.Coordinate large-scale document management using advanced litigation technology.Prepare filings before U.S. regulatory agencies and federal courts.Assist with matters before the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. International Trade Commission, Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.Support investor-state treaty arbitrations and international commercial arbitrations.Perform expert-level Bluebook cite checking, Shepardizing, and legal proofreading.Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, PACER, CM/ECF, and other legal research platforms.Prepare attorneys and witnesses for hearings, arbitrations, and trial.Organize confidential case materials and maintain electronic and hard-copy records.Coordinate trial preparation, exhibit management, and hearing logistics.Supervise Project Assistants and temporary legal support staff.Work closely with attorneys, clients, vendors, and international teams throughout every stage of a matter.What We're Looking ForWe're searching for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, managing high-profile matters, and working within a collaborative international practice.Ideal candidates will have:4+ years of paralegal experience in a medium or large law firm.Experience supporting trial, regulatory litigation, arbitration hearings, or complex commercial litigation.Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing requirements.Experience with PACER, CM/ECF, Westlaw, Lexis, and litigation support technology.Exceptional proofreading, organizational, and communication skills.The ability to manage multiple high-priority matters under tight deadlines.Strong judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.A bachelor's degree is required.Highly Desired ExperienceInternational arbitrationTrade remedies or international trade litigationRelativity, Concordance, Case Notebook (LiveNote), Trial Director, and Adobe Acrobat ProfessionalABA-approved Paralegal CertificateSpanish or Mandarin language skillsExperience working with highly confidential international matters
