Senior Payment Operations Analyst

Key ResponsibilitiesProcess domestic and international payment transactions, including electronic transfers and settlement activities, with a strong focus on accuracy, deadlines, and operational controls.Research and resolve payment exceptions, failed transactions, and processing discrepancies while identifying underlying causes.Complete daily payment file processing and reconcile activity against internal records.Review transactions for potential fraud, sanctions concerns, and other compliance risks, escalating issues when appropriate.Maintain complete documentation to support audits, investigations, and operational reporting.Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory and internal policy requirements related to payment operations.Support audit activities by providing documentation, responding to inquiries, and assisting with corrective actions.Evaluate operational processes, recommend control improvements, and implement risk-reduction initiatives.Partner with internal teams to resolve complex client payment issues and improve service delivery.Monitor payment platforms, identify system issues, and coordinate timely resolution.Prepare recurring and ad hoc operational reports for leadership and compliance purposes.Participate in system testing, quality reviews, and implementation of technology enhancements.Work cross-functionally with business partners to improve workflows and operational effectiveness.Provide support across deposit and back-office operations as business needs require.
