Senior Performance Creative Designer, Paid Social

About Scaling.com Scaling.com helps established business owners 10x their companies in three years or less. We work with entrepreneurs doing $1 million or more in revenue who are ready to stop being the bottleneck and build a company that scales. Our creative library includes books, podcasts, keynotes, live events, member interviews, case studies, trainings, webinars, founder content, and years of verified customer stories. Keep Reading If You

• You have already concepted and designed paid-social static ads in a serious performance environment and can explain the result, your ownership, and what you did next.
• You prefer owning an outcome to waiting for a task list. You turn a clear goal into a plan, make decisions, and keep work moving without constant direction.
• You surface risks early, bring proposed solutions, and ask for help before a problem becomes expensive.
• You bring high character, exceptional standards, low ego, and real accountability.
• You raise the floor around you. You make teammates better, strengthen the work, and help other talented people succeed.
• You want a serious, kind, no-bullshit team. Results matter, people care how they treat one another, and the goal matters more than ego. Why This Role Exists Scaling.com needs paid-social static ads that are visually exceptional and built to convert. You will have strong source material, brand context, and performance feedback, then real room to explore how the idea should come to life. We want an artist with direct-response judgment: someone who can create distinct visual worlds, choose the right treatment for the message, and build new creative families instead of cosmetic variations. This role spans concepting, performance interpretation, and production design. You will use what the market teaches us, make independent visual decisions, and let results sharpen your next work. Your Core Workflow
• Review winning ads and hooks, performance signals, brand references, source material, and the current testing request.
• Diagnose why the signal worked and what the visual must communicate in the first second.
• Use AI to search our content and proof library for testimonials, founder material, book passages, customer stories, screenshots, frameworks, podcast moments, event excerpts, and visual references.
• Develop several genuinely different visual directions before polishing one. Bring original concepts, references, visual devices, and new test ideas.
• Design paid statics around books, highlighted passages, frameworks, customer proof, founder material, screenshots, photography, and original visual metaphors.
• Create meaningful variations across headline, hierarchy, composition, image choice, proof, framing, CTA, and visual hook.
• Use AI to accelerate research, composition exploration, image cleanup, controlled asset generation, and repetitive production without surrendering taste or judgment.
• Ship clean, editable Figma files and platform-ready exports, then use performance feedback to build the next visual family. What Success Looks Like
• A proven hook becomes several distinct, testable visual concepts rather than one layout with color changes.
• The idea reads immediately, looks exceptional, and earns attention without cheapening trust.
• The work stays on brand without becoming visually predictable.
• Core concepts and meaningful variations move quickly without lowering the quality floor.
• Proof remains legible, accurate, and credible for a sophisticated business audience.
• Your judgment, candor, and standards make the people and work around you better. What We Need to See
• A portfolio of conversion-oriented paid ads with clear personal ownership and measurable performance signals such as spend, qualified leads, CTR, conversion, booked calls, revenue, or lift against a control.
• Strong typography, hierarchy, composition, image craft, and concept range across more than one visual style.
• Experience designing for a sophisticated or high-consideration audience where credibility matters as much as stopping power.
• The ability to explain one paid-static test: the hook, visual hypothesis, variants, result, and next decision.
• Evidence that you work independently, surface problems early, and bring proposed solutions.
• A repeatable AI-enabled Figma or design workflow that improves speed or creative range without producing generic work.
• High standards without ego. You give and receive direct feedback, share credit, and help raise the team's floor. This Role Is Not
• An organic-social-only or brand-only portfolio role
• A production-artist role waiting for finished layouts
• Template swapping or cosmetic variation at volume
• AI imagery without design judgment
• Beauty without response, or response without taste PTO US Holidays
