Senior Planning Engineer

Job Description – Senior Planning Engineer Company: ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd.Department: Planning / ManufacturingExperience: 6–12 Years (preferably in heavy fabrication)Location: YNRKey Responsibilities:Prepare and monitor detailed production schedules for the manufacturing of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, and other static equipment.Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.Develop and track shop floor schedules, monitor progress against plan, and identify bottlenecks affecting delivery timelines.Prepare weekly and monthly production reports, material status reports, and project progress updates.Ensure availability of drawings, BOMs, raw materials, and bought-out items as per the production plan.Monitor fabrication activities including cutting, forming, fit-up, welding, NDT, PWHT, machining, hydrotesting, and final dispatch.Follow up with internal departments and vendors to achieve project milestones and committed delivery dates.Participate in capacity planning, load balancing, and optimization of manufacturing resources.Support implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Desired Candidate Profile:Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.6 - 12 years of experience in Planning in a heavy engineering or fabrication environment.Hands-on experience in planning and scheduling for Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers manufacturing.Good understanding of shop floor scheduling, fabrication sequences, and welding processes.Knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div. 1, ASME Section II, V, IX, and other applicable fabrication standards.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project/Primavera for scheduling and tracking.
