As the platform scales, they are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build secure, reliable and highly observable infrastructure that enables rapid product development in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS or GCP.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.Own containerisation and orchestration environments using Docker and Kubernetes.Implement monitoring, logging and observability across the platform.Ensure platform security, scalability and reliability.Work closely with backend and AI engineers to support production workloads.Optimise infrastructure performance, resilience and cost efficiency.Support compliance, disaster recovery and operational best practices.Required Experience & SkillsProven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.Strong experience with AWS and/or GCP.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.Infrastructure-as-code expertise, ideally Terraform.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Strong understanding of networking, cloud architecture and security principles.Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry.Experience supporting production environments and distributed systems.Strong automation mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Desirable (nice to have)Experience supporting AI, ML or data-intensive applications.Exposure to Python-based environments.Experience with PostgreSQL and vector databases.Understanding of GPU workloads and model deployment.Previous experience within healthcare, life sciences, biotech, pharma or other regulated industries.
