This rolecarries the CEO's mandate to drive cross-functional alignment and holds the organisation accountable toits strategic commitments. It operates at the intersection of strategy and delivery, ensuring the rightwork happens in the right order, that initiatives are coordinated effectively, and that nothing importantfalls through the cracks. The scope is enterprise-wide: project and programme management, agiledelivery governance, business transformation, AI-enabled process improvement, and strategic initiativesas directed by the CEO.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Support to the CEO: Serve as the primary operational partner to the CEO, translating strategic priorities into clear plans, owners, and timelinesPMO Leadership: Establish and lead the FlyAkeed PMO function, including standards, frameworks, and governance practicesPortfolio Management: Maintain a portfolio view of all initiatives, surfacing interdependencies, risks, and resourcing conflictsAgile Governance: Own the FlyAkeed Agile Playbook, overseeing Scrum Masters and monitoring sprint health and delivery performanceBusiness Transformation: Lead process improvement initiatives across technology, product, operations, customer success, HR, and finance. AI Enablement: Lead the adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows within PMO and operational functionsQuality & Risk: Maintain oversight of quality practices across squads, including defect management and release readinessSystems Governance: Own Jira configuration, workflow design, and integrations with tools like Slack, GitHub, and NotionTeam Development: Directly manage and develop Scrum Masters and the PMO CoordinatorRequirementsLeadership Experience: Significant experience in senior PMO leadership, project management, or operational leadership across multiple functionsTransformation Track Record: Demonstrated success leading business transformation, agile adoption, or operational improvement in technology companiesC-Suite Partnership: Experience as a strategic partner to executives with the ability to influence without direct authorityPeople Management: Proven experience managing and developing delivery practitioners and project coordinatorsTechnical Proficiency: Strong Jira configuration and administration experience across multiple project typesAI Familiarity: Comfort using AI tools as applied to project management and workflow improvementCultural Adaptability: Ability to work across culturally diverse and geographically distributed teamsEducational/Consulting Background: Prior consulting or advisory experience is considered an advantage
