Senior Portfolio Risk Manager

We are currently supporting a leading investment and wealth management firm in Riyadh in the search for a Senior Portfolio Risk Manager to join its Asset Allocation & Risk function.This is a senior-level opportunity for an investment professional with strong expertise in Strategic Asset Allocation, Portfolio Management and Investment Risk Analytics, with exposure to both traditional and alternative investments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and review Investment Policy Statements (IPS) for client portfolios.Develop and maintain strategic asset allocation models, including optimization, scenario and sensitivity analysis.Build portfolio liquidity and private-market cash-flow models.Monitor portfolio performance, risk, asset allocation and approved risk limits.Conduct performance and risk attribution and recommend rebalancing actions.Support investment implementation, investment pipelines and execution.Conduct thematic and ad-hoc portfolio risk analysis in response to market events and proposed investments.Contribute to investment product due diligence and Investment Committee discussions.Enhance portfolio analytics and reporting through advanced Excel and, preferably, Python.Candidate ProfileBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline.Minimum 6 years of relevant experience across financial services, investment management, private equity, pensions, ALM or cross-asset portfolios.Strong understanding of Strategic Asset Allocation, Portfolio Management and Investment Risk Analytics.Solid knowledge of alternative investments, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Debt and Infrastructure.Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; VBA/advanced Excel functions are highly valued.Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving capabilities.High level of integrity and discretion.Excellent English communication skills.CFA / FRM / ASA / CA / CPA would be strongly preferred.Arabic and Python experience would be an advantage.
