Senior Power BI Developer

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, SSIS, SQL Server, and Data Warehousing to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ETL development, data modeling, dashboard development, and transforming business requirements into actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI.Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.Design and implement dimensional data models (Star Schema/Snowflake Schema).Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate them into reporting solutions.Create complex DAX measures, KPIs, and Power Query transformations.Ensure data quality, report performance, scalability, and security.Support data integration, data migration, and reporting initiatives across the organization.Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues.Required Skills7-12 years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or Reporting.Strong hands-on experience with:Power BI Desktop & Power BI ServiceDAX & Power QuerySQL ServerSSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)Data Warehousing ConceptsData Modeling & Dimensional ModelingExperience building enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.Understanding of ETL design and implementation.Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI governance.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Preferred SkillsMicrosoft FabricAzure Data Factory (ADF)Azure Synapse AnalyticsDatabricksSnowflakePower BI Certification (PL-300 or equivalent)
