Designation: Sr. Power BI Developer Job ID: JOB313 Experience: 5–10 Years Shift : 3.00 PM to 11.00 PM IST Employment Type: Permanent Location: Ahmedabad Work Mode: Work From OfficeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, SQL Server, DAX, Power Query, and data modelling. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, dashboards, reports, and datasets while ensuring data accuracy, performance, governance, privacy, and security.The role requires the candidate to work full-time onsite at Sigma Solve's Ahmedabad facility. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets.Understand business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.Develop data models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.Work with ETL processes and large, complex datasets.Ensure data accuracy, report performance, and availability.Follow data governance, privacy, and security policies while handling sensitive information.Collaborate with QA and development teams for continued testing across projects after go-live.Troubleshoot data and reporting issues.Identify opportunities to improve reporting capabilities and self-service analytics.Support business stakeholders with data-driven insights and reporting solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of professional experience with Power BI.Strong hands-on experience with:Power BIDAXPower QueryData ModellingStrong proficiency in SQL Server / T-SQL.Experience with Stored Procedures and SQL performance tuning.Experience with ETL processes.Ability to work with large and complex datasets.Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and PII handling.Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work full-time onsite at Sigma Solve's Ahmedabad office. Nice to HaveExperience with Power BI Premium or enterprise-scale Power BI deployments.Background in QA testing or UAT coordination.Knowledge of Azure Data Services or Snowflake.
