With qic.online and the QIC app, you can manage your needs anytime, anywhere.As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will join the Retail Insurance team to drive pricing strategy and portfolio profitability by developing and optimizing tariff models. Ensure pricing decisions are grounded in claims experience, risk segmentation, portfolio performance, and market competitiveness.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain pricing and tariff models for Motor Insurance using frequency-severity, GLM, and other relevant approaches, with secondary coverage of Travel, Home, and other personal insurance productsMonitor portfolio performance and identify the key drivers behind deviations from profitability targetsPrepare data-driven recommendations for tariff adjustments to support sales, profitability, and loss ratio objectivesConduct rate adequacy, competitor pricing, and customer sensitivity analysis to support pricing decisionsSupport tariff approval, rate filing, and regulatory submission processes where applicablePartner with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product, Claims, and Data teams on pricing initiatives and portfolio reviewsBuild pricing dashboards and management reports and present findings to relevant stakeholdersRequirements3–5 years of experience in insurance pricing, actuarial analysis, or risk analytics, ideally within Motor or broader Property and Casualty insuranceBachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of actuarial pricing principles, including frequency-severity modelling, GLMs, loss ratio analysis, and combined ratio analysisSolid understanding of insurance portfolio economics, including claims experience, retention, profitability, and the underwriting cycleExperience developing, validating, and interpreting rating models and rate-impact analysesProficiency in SQL and strong Excel skills for data extraction, pricing calculations, scenario modelling, and portfolio analysisAbility to translate complex analytical findings into clear commercial recommendations and communicate effectively with stakeholdersEnglish level B2 or higherNice to haveProgress toward an actuarial qualification, such as IFoA or SOAExperience with actuarial and statistical modelling tools such as R, Python, Emblem, or RadarExperience with data-visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker StudioKnowledge of insurance pricing regulation and experience across Motor, Travel, Home, or other retail insurance productsTermsLong-term service agreement contract with QIC with 3 months probation periodWe are diverse — our digital nomads work remotely from 25+ different countriesPayment in US dollars monthly to your bank account using SWIFTFull-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezoneVacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 vacation days, 10 sick offsPerformance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raiseVisa sponsorship with the opportunity to obtain a Qatar ID and relocate to DohaBenefits & PerksIndividual English language classesRemoteHealth Premium InsuranceCompensation for conferences, training, and the purchase of necessary toolsConsultation on tax policies with a managerRunning club on StravaCorporate discount in the Privilege Program, including Qatar AirwaysApply now and join us!
