A pioneer in breaking down the barriers between strategy and execution, Infosys Consulting delivers superior business value to its clients by advising them on strategy and process optimization as well as IT-enabled transformation, visit us at https://www.infosys.com/consultingInfosys Consulting - Where Innovation meets Excellence.The TeamAs we continue to expand our consulting capabilities, we are seeking a Technology Consultant with strong Program Transformation skills with experiences working in Energy and Utilities to navigate industry disruption, energy transition, and large-scale digital and business transformation.The role will involve working closely with clients, having experience in the energy and utilities value chain to shape, govern, and deliver complex transformation programs, will be an added advantage.ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement & AdvisoryAct as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (C-suite and business unit leadership) on energy and utilities industry trends, operating models, and transformation strategyEngage with clients to understand complex business challenges and translate these into actionable, technology-enabled transformation roadmapsFacilitate executive workshops to define program vision, business cases, success metrics, and transformation roadmapsCommunicate complex technical and commercial concepts clearly to both business and technical audiencesProject & Program ManagementPlan, manage, and execute projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologiesDefine scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metricsTrack progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependenciesAct as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignmentDrive end-to-end delivery across transformation programs, ensuring quality and timely executionTransformation & Delivery ExcellenceDemonstrated senior experience leading large, complex transformation programs end-to-end, from strategy through design, implementation, and benefits realisationDefine program scope, governance structures, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and success metricsProactively manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, and change across multiple workstreamsAct as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technical delivery teams, vendors, and executive sponsors to ensure alignment and accountabilityDrive end-to-end delivery across transformation programs, ensuring quality, timely execution, and realised business valueIdentify improvement opportunities and resolve delivery challenges across program streamsEnergy & Utilities Domain Expertise6-7+ years of consulting experience within the Energy & Utilities sector, covering one or more of Electricity, Water, Gas, or RenewablesStrong working knowledge of core utilities functional domains such as CRM, EAM, FSM, ETRM, SCADA, GIS, Energy Management Systems, AMI/Smart Metering, and Distributed Energy ResourcesAwareness of energy transition trends including renewables integration, electrification, decarbonisation, and emerging technology (e.g. solar, storage, E-mobility, hydrogen)Ability to bring industry leading practices and benchmarks to shape client solutions and investment decisionsAbout YouYou are an entrepreneurial and collaborative consultant with a strong mix of technical knowledge, delivery capability, and business acumen, capable of operating in fast-paced, client-facing environments.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.15+ years of experience in consultingCertifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum) are advantageousOur ideal candidate will be:Able to balance technical and commercial considerations to develop practical recommendations for our clientsAble to build strong and effective business relationships at all levelsAble to support and oversee staff with less experience in their tasksAble to explain complex subjects without using jargon (both written and verbal)Be comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-moving and ambitious global team where the client comes firstFluent in English (Bahasa Malaysia advantageous)Please note, you must hold the relevant and suitable right to work in Malaysia
