Job Title: PCBA Design EngineerLocation: Berkeley, CAClient: Form EnergyJob DescriptionWe are seeking a PCBA Design Engineer responsible for the full lifecycle of PCBA design, from requirements generation and component selection through schematic/layout development, design release, vendor DFM, board bring-up, verification, configuration management, and sustaining.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate requirements, DFMEA/CFMEA, electrical block diagrams, simulations, analysis, schematics, layouts, bring-up/test plans, and 8D reports.Lead PCBA design through design release, vendor DFM, bring-up, verification, configuration management, and sustaining.Perform component selection and electrical design analysis.Develop and execute board bring-up and verification activities.Support troubleshooting, failure analysis, and sustaining engineering.Required SkillsProficiency with Altium or equivalent ECAD software.Hands-on experience with sensors and power electronics, including high voltage, high power, AC, SMPS, and LDO.Experience with MCU, MPU, and SOM processing platforms.Experience with Ethernet, CAN-FD, and isoSPI networking.Experience with SPI, UART, I2C, and JTAG.Experience with data acquisition including IO, ADC, and DAC.Experience with control systems including gate drivers, motor drivers, and HSD.Experience with DFMEA/CFMEA, simulations, schematic/layout development, PCBA bring-up, verification, and DFM.
