The position ensures that personal data is handled in accordance with applicable local regulations and company policies.Working closely with the Global Privacy, Product & AI Legal team, this role plays a key part in monitoring compliance, raising awareness across the organization, supporting contract reviews, and advancing responsible AI practices. The position serves as a strategic partner and right hand to the Americas Privacy Leader, with strong opportunity for growth and ownership.Job DescriptionSupport and monitor data privacy and protection compliance across the Americas, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and company policiesConduct privacy assessments, identify risks, and support the implementation of mitigation measures for new projects, systems, and productsReview, negotiate, and manage Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), privacy clauses, and third-party data protection requirementsSupport the handling of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), privacy incidents, and data breach response processesMaintain privacy documentation, compliance records, reporting, and governance activities using tools such as OneTrustDevelop and deliver privacy training and awareness initiatives to promote a strong culture of data protectionSupport the implementation of AI governance frameworks, monitor evolving AI regulations, and promote responsible and compliant AI practicesCollaborate closely with legal, business, and global privacy stakeholders across the region to support privacy and compliance initiativesProvide language support and contribute to regional and global privacy programs as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldIAPP certification (CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent) preferred3-6 years of experience in privacy, compliance, governance, regulatory, or related areasStrong experience reviewing and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), contracts, and legal documentationSolid understanding of data privacy, personal data protection principles, and regulatory compliance requirementsExperience supporting privacy assessments (DPIAs), data breach response processes, and third-party risk managementFamiliarity with privacy management tools such as OneTrustBasic knowledge of AI concepts, AI governance, and emerging AI regulationsExperience working in multinational or regional environmentsFluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese and other languages are a plusStrong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, with a proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams across regionsAdditional InformationOur BenefitsFlexible working environmentVolunteer time offLinkedIn LearningEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP)NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
