Senior Process Engineer

About the RoleWorking at Heraeus Kulai, Johor Plant, responsible for achieving yield and productivity targets by ensuring stable and efficient wire manufacturing and wire bonding processes. Experienced in process and tool optimization, SPC monitoring, continuous improvement, new product introduction (NPI), and driving improvements in quality, OEE, OTD, and cost. Also responsible for customer complaint handling, failure analysis, 8D reporting, and implementing corrective actions to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesFull responsible for attaining the yield target for the area of responsibility.Understand the relationship between wire manufacturing characteristics and wire bonding performance to ensure consistent bendability, bond strength, and reliability.Involve in tool optimization, process optimization and start up.Define control as required.Ensure manufacturing processes are stable, predictable, and capable by controlling variation through SPC, process monitoring, and proactive continuous improvement.Meet OTD and support cost projects as required.Responsible for evaluating and determining process flow for new products introduction.Responsible for continual improvement of the yield, productivity, cost, OEE and OTD for area of responsibility.Responsible for customer complaints issue.To provide 8D / Failure analysis and solution to address complaints.Responsible for implementing corrective actions derived from analysis to manufacturing processes.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering8+ years of relevant experienceRequired SkillsKnowledge of Wire Drawing manufacturing (Aluminum/Copper).Good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership. Lead by an example.Well-versed in report writing & presentation skill.Proficiency in MiniTab, DOE, FMEA, OCAP, Control plan & SPC.Problem analysing and solving using statistical methodology, QC Tools, DOE & 6 Sigma methodologies.SAP/Magellan troubleshooting skills
