You’ll join our collaborative Mining team, working alongside multidisciplinary professionals to deliver practical, innovative solutions for complex mining projects.
Location: Riyadh, KSAJob Requirements and DescriptionDesign flowsheets for each unique ore or feedstock, optimizing the business case for implementation.Assist in feasibility studies and detailed design for metals projects.Prepare design calculations and documentation and development of mass balance models in simulation software (METSIM, SysCAD, IDEAS).Provide process design requirements to designers.Prepare process equipment data sheets, including technical details and duties as required.Ensure process specifications portray the appropriate information and design intent.Work with the project team to prepare capital and operating cost estimates.Assist in plant commissioning.Background and QualificationsMinimum of 6 years of experience in a heavy industrial design and layout, EPCM environment is preferred.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.Mining, construction field experience is preferred.Knowledgeable in the design of Mining systems.Active member of the Saudi Council of Engineers.Design experience, preferably in the consulting industry.Sound understanding of design, Saudi engineering codes and technical standards.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.), CAD, and BIM tools.Knowledge of mining-related processes.Non-TechnicalProfessionalism: Appropriate written and verbal communications skills.Professional presentation external and internal to office. (IE: attire, engagement, meeting prep, etc.)Demonstrates presentation skills through internal and external technical presentations and whitepapers.Positively contributes to EXP and local office culture.
