Job Description

MSI is the leader in the Federal adoption of Emerging Technologies. Our engagements span the civilian and defense sectors and include developing some of the most impactful automations that have been deployed in the Federal Government. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:Facilitate excellent customer experiences for clients and stakeholders.Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical documentation.Facilitate process walkthroughs and stakeholder discussions.Collaborate with business process owners, system / application owners, and developers to refine solution designs.Communicate and track risks or blockers to project leadership.Define acceptance criteria and supporting testing and validation.Communicate insights, progress, risks, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:Bachelors, Masters, or PHD in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, a related Business Degree, or another relevant field. Note: Experience in lieu of an advanced degree is acceptable.10+ years of experience in a senior process improvement role; ideally managing both projects and coworkers.Requirements gathering and process mapping (BPMN, swim lanes, SOPs).Data analysis and documentation (Excel, SQL, Confluence, Jira).Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Systems thinking and root cause analysis.Understanding of automation, APIs, and digital transformation concepts.Ability to bridge business and technical teams.Bonus Experience:Knowledge of Electronic Health Records / IT management, modernization, and implementation; especially within the Federal Government.Experience working with technical teams in Agile environments.Familiarity with federal documentation standards.Prior experience in process improvement or Lean/Six Sigma.As a HUBZone certified company, we encourage applicants who live in a HUBZone, as designated by the Small Business Administration (SBA), to apply for this position.
