Senior Procurement Consultant

Hiring: Procurement Consultant | DubaiAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Procurement Consultant to provide strategic advisory support across procurement operations, policies, procedures and strategic projects.ResponsibilitiesReview and enhance existing procurement policies, procedures and governance frameworks.Develop and recommend procurement and supply-chain strategies aligned with organizational objectives.Analyse procurement spend, market trends, supplier performance and cost-saving opportunities.Review and support strategic projects and initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, processes and operational effectiveness.Support the formulation and monitoring of KPIs for procurement functions.Provide strategic insights, innovative ideas and recommendations to senior leadership.Advise on supplier evaluation, contract management, commercial terms and negotiations.Identify procurement and supply-chain risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.Support procurement digitalization and optimization through ERP/procurement technologies.Work closely with senior leaders, internal teams, cross-functional divisions and external vendors as required.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.Required Skills8+ years of relevant experience in Procurement / Strategic Procurement / Supply Chain / Procurement Consulting.Strong experience in procurement strategy, policy & procedure development, spend analysis and supplier/contract management.Strong understanding of commercial practices, procurement governance and relevant regulations.Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.Experience working with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar platforms.Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in an advisory capacity.Professional certifications such as CIPS, MCIPS, CSCP, WorldCC or equivalent will be an added advantage.Preferred SkillsProfessional certifications such as CIPS, MCIPS, CSCP, WorldCC or equivalent will be an added advantage.Pay range and compensation packageRole Type: 1-Year Renewable Contract
