Proudly Recognized as Lancaster County's Best Place to Work!The Senior Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the organization’s supply chain protocols, procedures, and strategy to ensure an uninterrupted supply of goods and services at the best value for the company. This position requires a dynamic leader with excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills. The Senior Procurement Manager will be the accountable seat that controls inventory and the cost of goods for the company and needs to have the integrity, drive, and business acumen to best meet the business needs of Direct while modeling our Core Values.RESPONSIBILITIESWork collaboratively within the company in support of the Core Values, Team Charter and Business PlansDevelop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.Develop and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal termsPartner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.Monitor and forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.Monitor commodity trends for key commodities.
