Senior Procurement Manager

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and category management for key spend categories.This role will own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for assigned categories, from category strategy and supplier selection to commercial negotiation, contracting, supplier performance, cost optimization, and risk management.The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, category expertise, supplier management capabilities, and cross-functional influence, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute category strategies aligned with business priorities, cost targets, supply requirements, and long-term growth plans.Own strategic sourcing activities, including market analysis, supplier identification, RFQ/RFP, bid evaluation, negotiation, supplier selection, and contracting.Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, capacity, lead time, service levels, and other key contractual terms.Build and manage strategic supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, delivery, service, innovation, and risk.Identify and deliver sustainable cost reduction, cost avoidance, and value creation opportunities.Monitor category market dynamics, commodity trends, supplier landscape, capacity, and geopolitical or supply-chain risks.Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Legal, and Supply Chain to support business requirements.Establish category and supplier performance metrics and drive corrective actions where required.Support supplier development, localization, dual sourcing, and supply continuity initiatives.Provide procurement expertise and recommendations to senior stakeholders and contribute to broader procurement transformation initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.Approximately 10–15 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or category management.Demonstrated experience independently managing significant spend categories and complex supplier relationships.Strong track record in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiation, cost management, and supplier performance management.Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand cost structures, market dynamics, and total cost of ownership.Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working across functions and organizational levels.Comfortable operating in a dynamic, international, and results-oriented environment.Strong communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are a plus.What Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means building a competitive and resilient supplier base, delivering measurable commercial value, proactively managing supply risks, and becoming a trusted procurement partner to the business.If you are a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys owning categories, negotiating complex deals, developing suppliers, and creating measurable business impact, we’d love to hear from you.
