قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجSenior Procurement ManagerLocation: Stevenage, Bolton or BristolSalary: Circa £60,000 - £65,000 depending on experienceWorking Model: Hybrid, 1 to 2 days per week on-site, with travel between sites and to suppliers across the UK and EuropeSecurity: British Citizen or Dual UK nationalAn excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join a leading international defence organisation, supporting the delivery of complex, high-value programmes through effective supplier and subcontract management.You will lead a team of procurement specialists while managing a portfolio of projects, working closely with senior project, engineering and technical stakeholders. The role combines strategic procurement, supplier negotiation, contract management and commercial risk management within a highly regulated engineering environment.The roleLead and support a team of procurement professionals, ensuring effective delivery across multiple projects.Manage a portfolio of supplier and subcontract procurement activities from initial requirements through to contract completion.Negotiate commercial agreements, contractual terms and conditions with key suppliers.Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers across the UK and internationally.Work closely with project and technical teams to understand requirements and provide commercially sound procurement solutions.Manage supplier performance against cost, quality and delivery expectations.Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the procurement lifecycle.Ensure procurement activity meets required governance, authorisation and due diligence standards.Support competitive tendering, supplier selection and new business opportunities.Resolve complex commercial issues through effective negotiation and stakeholder management.Provide procurement guidance to senior internal stakeholders across a range of projects and commercial frameworks.Travel to supplier and company sites across the UK, Europe and potentially internationally.What we’re looking forStrong experience in procurement, supplier management or subcontract management within a complex commercial environment.Proven experience negotiating contracts, terms and conditions with suppliers.Experience managing procurement activity throughout the full contract lifecycle.Strong understanding of commercial governance, due diligence and procurement controls.Experience supporting competitive tendering and supplier negotiations.Confident engaging with senior stakeholders across technical, project and commercial functions.Strong negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills.Previous experience managing, mentoring or leading procurement professionals.Highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple priorities.A methodical approach with strong attention to detail and an appreciation for working within established procedures.What’s on offerSalary of circa £60,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.Bonus opportunity of up to 21% of base salary.Pension contributions of up to 14% combined employer and employee.Hybrid working, typically 1 to 2 days per week on-site.The opportunity to work on complex, high-value defence programmes supporting customers in the UK and internationally.This is an opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to take a senior position within a technically complex organisation, combining team leadership, supplier negotiation, contract management and commercial ownership across significant defence programmes.For further information feel free to reach me at 02895213213, or simply apply!
