This role involves developing strategic sourcing plans, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with key suppliers. They will be expected to analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. Additionally, the Senior Procurement Manager will collaborate with various departments to forecast needs, manage budgets, and drive cost-saving initiatives, ultimately contributing significantly to the company’s bottom line.Key Responsibilities: · Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.· Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, service, cost, and reliability.· Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.· Maintain and manage relationships with key suppliers.· Analyze market trends to identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain.· Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or service.· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.· Collaborate with other departments to meet their procurement needs and objectives.· Review and approve purchase orders and requisitions within authorization levels.· Conduct regular procurement audits to ensure documentation and adherence to guidelines.· Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.· Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing.· Mentor and develop junior procurement staff.· Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends.· Coordinate with legal and finance teams for contract compliance and budget adherence.· Lead cross-functional teams on special procurement projects.· Implement and manage procurement systems and software.· Conduct supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.· Facilitate supplier development programs for improved performance.· Align procurement activities with overall business goals and strategies.Qualifications and Skills:· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.· Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.· Proven track record in developing and implementing procurement strategies.· Strong negotiation skills with experience in contract management.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.· Proficiency in procurement software and systems.· Experience managing supplier relationships and performance.· Knowledge of market analysis and cost reduction strategies.· Strong leadership and team management skills.· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.· Exceptional communication and presentation skills.· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.· Understanding of regulatory compliance and procurement best practices.· Expertise in conducting procurement audits and risk assessments.· Familiarity with industry trends and emerging procurement technologies.· Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) preferred.· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.· Advanced proficiency in ERP systems – preferably SAGE X3.· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
