Senior Procurement Manager

Extension is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager – Indirect Procurement for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Milwaukee, WI.About Our ClientEstablished organization with a large and sophisticated operating environmentCollaborative culture with strong cross-functional partnershipOpportunity to lead high-impact procurement and sourcing initiativesRole with visibility across multiple business functionsCompetitive benefits and opportunities for long-term professional growthKey Objectives / Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies across a variety of indirect spend categoriesLead sourcing activities from initial business requirements through supplier selection and implementationManage competitive bid processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract developmentBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective procurement solutionsEstablish and maintain productive relationships with external suppliers and service providersEvaluate supplier performance, pricing, service levels, and overall valueIdentify and execute opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and spend optimizationSupport contract negotiations and help ensure appropriate commercial terms and service expectationsAnalyze spend, supplier, and market information to support sourcing decisionsIdentify and mitigate supplier and procurement-related risksDrive continuous improvement across sourcing and supplier management processesDesired Skills & Qualifications8+ years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience sourcing indirect goods and/or servicesExperience managing complex supplier and service-provider relationshipsStrong background in supplier negotiations, competitive sourcing, and contract managementProven ability to identify and deliver measurable cost savings and business improvementsExperience partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of an organizationComfortable working within a large-scale or complex business environmentStrong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience with ERP, sourcing, procurement, or spend-management systemsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline preferredSalary Information$125,000 annuallyWe’re looking forward to connecting with you and are excited to help you make your next career move!
