Senior Procurement Manager

Location: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaWe are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead strategic procurement and category management activities within a major construction environment.

The role will work closely with senior stakeholders, supply chain partners, and internal teams to develop and implement effective procurement strategies and drive commercial value.What you will be responsible for:Lead category management and procurement strategies from development through implementation, monitoring, and delivery.Manage key procurement workstreams and initiatives, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and timelines.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, supply chain partners, and internal and external stakeholders.Lead market analysis, supplier due diligence, and commercial assessments to support informed procurement decisions.Drive value creation through effective procurement processes, commercial negotiations, and performance management.Manage and influence senior and executive-level stakeholders across the business and client environment.Lead and develop procurement team members, providing coaching, performance management, and ongoing professional development.Monitor procurement and supply chain performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Support sustainable procurement practices and contribute to carbon reduction and net zero objectives.What you need to have:Degree or equivalent qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction, or a related discipline.CIPS qualification or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.Strong experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management within the construction or major projects environment.Strong knowledge of the construction market and supply chain.Experience working with a main contractor or major construction organisation is highly desirable.Proven experience developing and implementing procurement/category strategies end-to-end.Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.Demonstrated experience managing and influencing senior and executive-level stakeholders.Previous experience leading and developing teams.Strong communication, relationship management, and decision-making skills.
