Senior Procurement Manager (Team Head) (IT Focused)

The CompanyA global MNC is looking for a high-caliber Senior Procurement Manager to manage the team and global procurement functions. The RoleDevelop and execute category, sourcing, and commercial strategies for IT and related services.Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify emerging trends, opportunities, risks, and innovations within the software and technology landscape.Build and manage strategic relationships with key software vendors and relevant industry stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes, operating models, and governance frameworks to enhance efficiency and business value.Partner with technology and business stakeholders across multiple regions to optimize sourcing approaches and procurement outcomes.Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations to achieve the best commercial and service outcomes.Challenge business requirements and specifications to ensure demand management and cost optimization.Negotiate commercial agreements and service arrangements that balance value, quality, performance, and risk.Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract management standards, and regulatory requirements.Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives where required.Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement professionals to build capability and drive performance. Your ProfileDegree qualified in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Technology, or a related discipline.Minimum 10+ years of relevant procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.Strong experience in IT procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.Proven ability to develop and implement category strategies in a large and complex organisation.Strong understanding of commercial contracting, procurement governance, and supplier management practices.Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial principles.Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.Ability to build credibility and collaborative relationships across business functions and leadership teams.Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.Adaptable, approachable, and decisive, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
